ODMS R3 update

From this version DS-4000/3300 will no longer be supported. These models will no longer be detected by ODMS, so download and direct recording functionality will no longer be available.

In the previous version, R6.2.2 these devices were able to be configured under Generic Device and auto download and direct recording functions happened to work.

The DS-4000/3300 will still connect as a removable drive to the user's computer, so if necessary they can manually copy the files and import into the software.

Please note that DS-4000/3300 devices were sold between 2004 and early 2009. They reached 'end of life' support in 2012 with no accessories or parts available. R4 Software support has also ceased.

Like all previous updates, once a user updates the software to R6.3 it is not possible to 'roll back" to R6.2.2. Updates introduce improvements and it is advisable to keep the software updated to the most current version.
